Prayer is a vital part of the ministry of Reachout Trust and many people who contact us need and appreciate those that pray for them.
There are obviously two aspects to any prayer involvement, first, those who are willing to pray and second, those who want prayer. The latter can only be helped if the former are in place. Below are prayer requests.

CULT AND OCCULT RELATED ISSUES

Please pray for a guy 'D' who is a leading Wiccan in N. America. He has had quite a bit of positive contact over a long period with evangelical Christians who dialogue with him. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to break the dark spirits of the occult and convict him of his need to come to Jesus as saviour. (15.02.2012)

Please pray for me, as for two years now we have been regulary getting 70-80 unchurched 15-18yr olds from the local high school to our older youth night on Fridays.They really do have some strange ideas about Christianity. Pray the Lord will break through the confusion in their heads. Please pray also for 20 unchurched 11-14yr olds we get on a Saturday night. (25.01.2012)

Two ladies Sheryll and Muriel, I met in England when I testified at a ReachOut Convention few yrs ago, sent me this. ''Could you keep in your prayers a United Reformed Church that's based in Hull, as it now holds "Christian Spiritualist" meetings! My mum rang the pastor of the church and was informed 'yes meetings are taking place within the church, but on a different day to the regular church services, so this would'nt affect the Church!' My mum got into discussion with him about the occult and asked him about Deut. 18 and got the impression he'd never read it and that it's ok for the spiritualists to hold services in the church as it was an act of love!! It would be much appreciated if you could keep this church, the pastor and the congregation in your prayers.'' (10.12.2011)

Please pray for my son David. He was saved as a child and is now 21 years old. Since a teenager he has turned his back on God and drifted further and further away. He is now living with his girlfriend of 5 years who is involved in Wicca. I am sure he too is caught up in this in some way or another.
They live in the top of a house owned by her mother and her boyfriend, again I believe they too are involved in Wicca. So the influence is all around him.
At the weekend, with it being Halloween, God really opened my eyes to what is going on. I know he is unhappy, under conviction (but not recognising it as conviction) and so badly needing to be freed from all this junk.
Please pray that his eyes will be opened and that he will realise the only One he needs has never moved and loves him more than he could ever ask or imagine.
Please pray that he realises what he is into, because at the moment he is so blinded to everything by his love for this girl. Pray he sees the danger and that he needs to get out of the situation before it destroys him.
Please pray that he knows how much he is loved both by God and by his family and that he comes back to Christ. (04.11.2011)

Please pray for my brother who is influenced by masonary, also for a lady in the Mormon Church in essex as she is struggling with this Church. Another Lady and Husband who were also mormons to comfort these 2 while going through a deprogramming process. (16.09.2011)

G. is a Jehovah's Witnesses recenlty in trouble with the police for a drink/drive offence. J. a Christian ofetn talks to him. Pray that the revelation of who Jesus is will come to him. (12.08.2011)

Ben & Wendy are my next door neighbours. Please pray for Wendy who is away on a Buddhist retreat and has taken the young children with her. Ben [not a Christian] does not want his family involved with this. Pray Wendy will not find this a good time away and will seek to find the true Jesus. (05.08.2011)

I became born again 20 years ago, but quickly became influenced by the people from the Wathctower. Our Lord Jesus Christ saved me from being baptised with them. It took 2 years of being under evangelical teaching to clear my mind.
I feel the need to help others to be set free and know their true Lord and saviour. To this end my wife and I have a JW couple wisiting us each week. They obviously want to "save us from the system of things" . I'd appreciate prayer for our protection and for their salvation.

I'm a born again Christian, I've just finished talking with some lovely JW's at the door, they are coming back to see me again so that we can talk some more. I told them that I'm happy for them to come back as I wouldn't want to see them perish!
The 144k wasn't really something they wanted to get into, the main thing that I can't get my head around is that they don't want to be in heaven with God they want to live on the earth when it's restored. WHO WOULDN'T want to be in God's company????!?!?! They believe that they will live through the tribulation - even if they aren't the 144k!
I've said that I'll read one of their books on Revelation if they agree to listen to my churches teachings on mp3 of revelation so we've struck a deal.
Pray for me that God will work through me to show them the deception that they are under, any advice or references would be greatly received.
I've been recently come under an increase in spiritual attack (mainly at night) and I believe that this can only be because I'm on the verge of breaking through. (05.08.2011)

Please can you pray for me and my family. I was avictim of stanic ritual abuse but have been achristian for 18 years. I had to go to the USA for deprograming. Please pray not just for me but also a non-Christian friend - her son my lost his wife and was left with a month old baby; she died with lung diseae and it is hard. (27.5.2011)

Her friend has become a Christian but the husband is so against all that has happened to her. M is seeking to reach out to him with the truth and would value pray to help her to keep on and that there will be a reconciliation in this marriage as he comes to know God. (27.5.2011)

Former medium, now a Christian but has many problems from the past and needs to find some good counsel and a Bible teaching church. Putting her in touch with some one and pray that they can help K to finally put the past behind and move on in the Lord. Pray for her son also a Christian but struggling due to the mum’s problems. For the past 2 weeks a couple of Jehovah's Witnesses' have visited me for an amicable discussion. I am a born again Christian and am about halfway through reading Doug Harris's book 'Awake to the watchtower'. Please pray for the witnesses Graham and Colin (Graham seems very sincere and first knocked on my door, Colin seems to be more senior by far and was originally a Methodist considering ministry) that God reveals the truth to them and touches their lives. Please prayer for me for patience, perseverence and my own bible knowledge (Doug's book has been a help but I guess I still need to so some serious bible study). Thank you for your service for this important ministry. Can I ask you to pray for someone who I have known for around 4 years. They are of JW extract. During that time we have had many hours even days of discussion particularly about the trinity. As I write this we are approaching week 10 of CE course here he has been attending and seemed to be responding. Last week we spent 2 hours on the same subject and is still adamant his stance that Jesus is not God. Please pray that the Lord opens his eyes to the truth.

We are a christian family. Since our eldest daughter was 14 we have prayed for her to meet a godly man. She is now 20 and in 2nd year of uni.10 months ago she met a man who ticked all the boxes for her except-he wasnt a christian. He told her his mum was though so we all began praying for his salvation. His mother is Egyptian his father is Sudanese and he holidayed in Sudan in summer and joined in ramadan. It transpires that all his family are Muslims. I believe God can save him and wants to yet until this happens I believe my daughter should not be in a relationship with him. She is confused, knowing deep down this is not right yet being scared to give him up as she has waited so long. She cannot understand how this has happened and is blaming God. Please pray - she is not planted in a church which is a problem too.

Whilst Margaret was away Claire (her daughter) had a bad experience one night. They are both Christians but Claire is not that committed and has some unusual friends. Claire felt some one was trying to pull her from the bed by her feet but there was no one else in the house. She did pray and it went; in the morning there were strange black greasy marks around the room. There have been no further incidents in the last few weeks but having seen our web site phoned and asked if we would pray for their protection against any thing they may have done that caused this to happen.

Asked for help to reach out to her friend who is a Jehovah's Witness of many years standing and is happy to talk about her religion. Pray we can find the right person to help and that they and Jacqueline can show her the error of the Watchtower and for her to come to know Jesus as Saviour.

Margaret is a Christian who has just discovered that her son who is away at university has a new girl friend, and that she and all her family are Jehovah's Witnesses. Wanted information but also prayer for this girl to be open to talk when they meet soon and that Margaret will know what to say.

I would ask prayer for myself and my prayer partner Ian Peel as we are both volunteers and work with the homeless and drink and drug addicts. We both have Jehovah witnesses calling regular on us and we need literature to give them. We both are willing to pray for Reachout Trust on a regular basis.

Please pray for two ladies who visit our craft club who I heard them talking about witches rings, stones, crystals and things in one of the son's bedroom. The ladies names are J. and R. They both have children and I will buy another copy of a book I bought last year and give it to R. to read. I0 have told her about my faith and what we believe.

Pray for Arthur as he seeks to encourage a former Witness P. P. has been disowned by his witness family since he came to Christ. Pray for protection for P. that he won’t be drawn back to the Watchtower because of the family but will go to Bible College and continue to walk with the Lord.

Emma has been brought up in a Christian home but has announced she wants to train as a medium with the local spiritualist church. Pray for her parents to be able to show this is not the way and the only way is through Jesus. Seek for her eyes to opened by Him to see the dangers of the way she wants to go. Pray she will renounce this path and come to know Jesus as her saviour.

Step mum to T. Pray for her to have wisdom as she seeks to share the dangers of becoming a Martial Arts instructor. T. has been brought up to know the Lord but probably not in a personal way, pray she will have her eyes opened to see Him as saviour and not to become involved with this way of life.

A lady from my church is considering going to the Mormon church. Her son is a Mormon and is putting pressure on her. I do not know her name but have been asked by her friend to pray for her.
S. also left the Mormon church a number of years ago has gone back to it. Please pray that she will leave again & come back to church

Margaret is a long time supporter of Reachout who has cancer. Pray for the grace and mercy of the Lord for her at this time and that God's will be done in her life and family. Pray too for George her husband.

Against my will, understanding and desire I have been held in a cult for 14
years. 7 years ago I tried to leave twice on my own, and all supernatural

I am not allowed to work, not go to church, make friends, have communication with family. I am moved regularly. Basically, I am not allowed a support or financial system. I have tried, when possible to ask for help via the internet, but its like my emails don't go anywhere. I just don't get responses. As a Christian, we are commanded to take care of our brethren. Jesus says the world will hate you as they hate Me. Well, they sure hate me and to this day, other than being a Christian, I don't know what has really triggered this, what would seem fictional abuse. Unfortunately it is real. I am not in the occult and never have been. Jesus is my saviour. I am just an ordinary person who loves the Lord.
I pray that you will pray for me. I pray that you will help me. Finances -
Praise the Lord for the way He has provided for us over the last
months. Please continue to pray that each month we will receive the right
amount necessary to meet our commitments and to take the work forward.
Leadership Team -
Please continue to pray for the Leadership Team and their
wives; Doug & Noemi, Mike & Christine, Debbie & Peter, Derek & Pat, Peter & Shirley, John & Judy .
Media Opportunities -
Pray for Doug and others as they have opportunities to
share the truth of Jesus Christ on various media programmes. Pray for those

DVD Production -
We are still hoping to record all of our main seminars on
to DVD. There are possibilities please pray they come to fruition.
Overseas Requests -
We regularly get requests from overseas (African
countries especially) for literature and usually invites to teach in the
churches there. We also get requests to start a branch of Reachout in the
country. Our experience of trying to respond to such requests in the past
has never worked out but please pray that we do not miss out on any contacts
that are the Lord opening the door; also pray for wisdom to know what to do,
if anything, with each request.
Website -
Praise the Lord for the regular contacts we have through the Web
site. Pray many more will be touched. Pray especially for the non-Christians
that stop by and ask questions. Many are still within the cults or occult.
Please also pray for wisdom and skill to keep the site up to date and
informative.
Please pray especially for those who contribute on the Forum - pray that the comments will be 'seasoned with salt' and those that do not know the Lord will be won for Christ. Please also pray for more contributors to join those who faithfully witness in this way.

Personnel -
Please pray for all those committed to us in the work but also
for the increase in this number that is vitally needed at this time. Pray
that the Lord of the harvest will send out workers at all levels in this
particular area of the 'vineyard'. Especially we are looking for younger
folks equipped of God and willing to be trained up in to leadership.
Researchers -
We also need those who can help with the vast amount of
research that needs to take place. Please pray for God to send the right
people to us.
Pray for the wisdom we need in what we should do to build the team up to
represent us around the country. This has been one of the main features of
Reachout and we need the Lord's wisdom concerning the future. Pray too for
wisdom to know what the priorities are in the work in the future.
