We have commented on, what we see as the
error and shortcomings of the new 'User Friendly' type churches,
several times over the past year. Many have criticised us for
what we have said.
However, it appears that a new report
backs up our concerns of what happens when Christ and His Word
are no longer central.
The report is part of a multi-year study
on the effectiveness of the programs and philosophy of Willow
Creek. The findings are published in a new book, "Reveal: Where
Are You?" What is more to the point is that this is not from an
outsider by is co-authored by Cally Parkinson and Greg Hawkins,
who is executive pastor of Willow Creek Community Church.
Leader
of the Community Bill Hybels as been reported as saying that the
findings are “earth shaking,” “ground breaking” and “mind blowing.”
