Purpose Driven Church to hit the UK

This is the headline in Christian Marketplace July 2005. The article that follows reports on Rick Warren's visit to Britain later this month to lead the first 'Purpose Drven Conference' in Nottingham lasting 3 days, 19-21 July.

Groups supporting the conference include the Evangelical Alliance, Premier Christian Radio and Scripture Uion. John Smith, Evangelical Alliance's UK Director for Church Life is reported to have said:

"He (Rick Warren) has a perchant for making the complicated understandable... He continually goes back to biblical principles..."
