 Printer Friendly Version - opens in separate window In May 2000, Baker Books, one of the largest and most respected publishers of evangelical Christian materials, published Mormonism 101. Written by Bill McKeever and Eric Johnson of Mormonism Research Ministry it is a valuable resource for the average layperson looking into Mormonism, a primer if you will. The response by Mormons seems unprecedented and, by mid-2002, a chapter-by-chapter rebuttal of the book had been produced by a team of Mormon apologists and put up on the web.In response, the authors decided to ask friends in different apologetic ministries to help compile rejoinders to these efforts, Mike Thomas of Reachout Trust being among those invited to take part in the project. Many of these rejoinders are now published on the net, with more to come. Those seeking a modern account of Mormonism, the work of its critics, and the response of its defenders will find great reward in these "discussions". The book, Mormonism 101, is available from Reachout Trust and is well worth reading and re-reading. The Mormon rebuttals can be found here.
