Reachout Trust needs mature enthusiastic volunteers all over the country to further the vital work they do amongst those involved in the cults, occult and new age. We have set up our working practices to ensure that we continue to offer the high service associated with the name of Reachout Trust but at the same time be able to increase the number of people available for Reachout to call on.

We have two main groups of people Reachout Associates(please click for more details) and Church Representatives.

Church Representatives

If you do not feel that you have the skills to be able to work in a wider area, many of the jobs can be undertaken within your church.

An essential part of the work of Reachout Trust is training and equipping the church. As this work goes forward it is important that it is upheld in prayer, that there is a free flow of information, and that Christians can confidently access and use the resources Reachout provides. It is critical that churches are informed and equipped and in order to do this we are inviting those who feel they can help to become Church Representatives for Reachout.

This will not require a lot of time and public speaking skills are not essential. All we ask of you is that you have a burden for people in the cults

We would value your co-operation and welcome you as a member of the Reachout team. Instruction and materials are provided as well as opportunities for greater involvement for those who seek it. This is an opportunity for you and your church to learn more about and be better prepared to answer the cultist at your door, or down your street.

Conditions of Application

I understand that as a Church Representative for Reachout Trust I will receive updates on Reachout activities, prayer requests, a catalogue of readily available resources and other information relevant to the Reachout ministry.

I agree to share this information with my church and leadership.

I will also try to start a local prayer group to pray about cult issues in our area and the information provided in the prayer letters sent.

As part of the information sent you will receive the Reachout 'Quarterly' magazine bringing news about developments in the cults, teaching on Christian truth and training on how to witness to those who are caught up in deception.

I agree to make this essential tool available to the church. To this end please send each issue the number copies of every issue so that I can either give them to interested people or leave them on the literature table or notice board.

I further agree to seek to arrange a Hear About Reachout Trust (HART) day once a year when I, or an invited representative of Reachout, can explain the work of the Trust. This can be anything from a mention in the service to a Sunday given over to preaching and sharing.
